An Update on Stone Rings, 15th Toy Stands, Tri Sliders, Troughton Penlights and more!
Introduction
Hello Everyone, and welcome back to the weekly newsletter!
Another productive week with members of the team getting a lot of work done on a number of projects.
15th Toy Stands
The first batch of 15th Toy stands is being sent out tomorrow and early next week! Kas has also been working on laser cutting the next batches.
Stone Rings
All Prop Only orders have now been sent out!
The Collectors edition stands have also been laser cut and assembled and will be sent out early next week!
Puzzle Cubes
Work continues on the Puzzle cubes, with the weathering having been applied.
These will shortly be sent to Kasim to fit with electronics!
Jacobi Tools
Weathering has been done on the Jacobi Tools! There is a small amount more painting to do, on some of the detail pieces, and then they will be done.
They have been fit with their electronics so once the final detail pieces are done they will be sent out!
You Really Don't Want To Know
The painting has now been completed on these replicas, and next week they will be fit with electronics!
Time PDAs
The time PDAs have now recieved their black base coats, next week they will recieve their gold paint!
In the mean time we have been printing the other detail pieces that go onto the replicas.
We appreciate everyones patience with these.
Resin Stunt MK2
The parts are all printed for these now and painting has commenced.
The main bodies have now been primed, and will recieve their crackle painting next week.
The 'Metal' pieces have also recieved their priming and gloss black paint and will be painted silver next week as well!
Tri Sliders - Original Run
Kas has now finished off the last of the Grey Aztec - Original Run.
More attention can now be alloted to finishing off the Original Tri Slider run.
This week Kas and Dan have been sorting out the sound boards, getting them programmed and soldered.
Josh has been working on tapping the electronics sections, ready for Kas to fit.
Kas has also been assembling the slider plate sections and screwing them onto the the electronics sections.
We look forward to bringing more regular updates on these!
Troughton Penlights
As with the Tri Sliders, now that the original Grey Aztec run assembly is done, more of his attention can be allocated to the Troughton Penlights.
The main fabrication is done, and all that is left is for them to be fit with their electronics. Kasim is working on doing so as quickly as he can.
Troughton Cutting Torch
That brings us nicely onto our final point for this newsletter, Introducing our newest replica, the Troughton Cutting Torch!
A 1:1 Prop Replica, based on vintage silver solder blow torches that were available at the time of filming.
Made using Hand Machined Aluminium, CNC'd Delrin and a metal clip. The clip-on handle "Adapter" has been made using the same coloured resin we use for the Troughton Penlights, as the colour of the original props is not known.
We've taken some creative liberties with the design of the handle to add more detail to the prop.
The ability to light up as standard. The prop lights up orange to emulate the cutting flame. Additionally you can opt for sound FX to be installed in your replica.
Both functionality variations are available as Prop Only, but alternatively there is also the Collector’s Edition, which comes with a laser cut acrylic display stand, information art booklet and storage tin.
Products are made to order, so production times may vary.
